Is the PNG to SVG converter free?

Does it keep the colors?

Yes. Color mode (the default) traces your image in full color and fits gradients into smooth color bands, so multi-color logos keep their colors. Choose Monochrome for a single-color result.

Will the background be transparent?

In Monochrome mode, yes — it removes the background and outputs a transparent SVG. Color mode faithfully reproduces the entire image, so a white or transparent background becomes a solid area in the SVG; it does not produce a transparent background.

What kind of images work best?

Logos, icons, and flat graphics with solid colors vectorize beautifully. Photos and complex, continuous-tone images don't — bitmap-to-vector is a poor fit for photos, and we'll warn you when an upload looks like one.

Are there any file limits?

Each file can be up to 4MB and 4096x4096 pixels, and you can upload up to 20 at once. Supported formats are PNG, JPG, and WebP.

My logo's small text came out blurry or missing. What can I do?

Turn on 'Enhance text clarity'. It upscales the image before tracing so thin, sub-pixel strokes survive — at the cost of roughly 3x the file size.
